About Me
I began my journey in graphic design during the summer of 2000 in Southern California. It was an exciting time, as the world of design was shifting from traditional print methods to digital platforms. I started by learning the basics of design principles and experimenting with software like Photoshop and Illustrator, building my skills in creating visuals that told powerful stories. That summer sparked my passion for design. I started by designing for my parents' church and local skateboarders and surfers who wanted to create their own personal brands.
Inspired by graffiti art and fashion trends, I set out on an incredible journey to make art that captured the spirit of the time and place we live in today. Over the years, I continued zeroing in on my craft, gaining experience and working with clients of all sizes. This period marked the beginning of a career that allowed me to merge creativity with technology. As I progressed, I found it difficult to find stock footage that wasn't "corny", which pushed me to experiment with cameras for photos and video, creating my own graphic and video assets. This exploration led me to learn Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Despite the challenges of the Dot-com crash, websites became a crucial part of daily life, and in 2005, I got a Myspace account, where I fell head over heels in love with web design.
Looking back, my early experiences shaped my approach to design, blending creativity with practicality and always pushing me to innovate. Today, I continue to embrace new technologies, always driven by the passion that started in that summer of 2000.
